Renee Neideigh LVT, VTS (Oncology)

(she/her/hers)

I am a former oncology veterinary technician specialist and my career in specialty medicine spanned nearly two decades. Exceedingly toxic and stressful, the emotionally taxing and physically demanding profession drained my empathetic soul into oblivion. Hanging on by a thread, I planted seeds of intention and in twenty-nineteen, the universe responded with an unequivocal answer. Revealed to me in a dream, my breakout path was disclosed and Day With Renee was born. While I watched veterinary medicine fade away in the rearview mirror, my business blossomed. And I never looked back.

An advocate for emotional well-being, I am passionate about behavioral psychology, and utilize positive reinforcement methods because force-free handling strengthens the bond that I share with your pet while providing a foundation of trust. Intuitively seeking a more deeply connected life, I am learning and evolving through my own transformative healing journey, and feel honored to be doing the intricate work that cognitive behavioral therapy entails. Enthusiastically reading books to better my understanding of behavior, I also plan to enroll in Dr. Susan Friedman’s Living & Learning With Animals course for veterinary & animal professionals. In my free time, I enjoy photography, writing, traveling, and spending time in nature.
